My Astrology Journey
I didn't come to astrology feeling certain. I came to it from collapse.
In 2016 I started learning about astrology casually, the way many people do. A couple years later, in early 2018, everything in my life had changed. I was in a full-time treatment program for an eating disorder, far from home, my work, my community, and most of what had defined me. I was living in a temporary apartment, going to treatment during the day and coming home to silence at night.
In that space I dove into astrology completely. I read everything I could find. I discovered Hellenistic astrology and the Whole Sign house system and started learning to read my own chart. What I found shocked me. I could see my patterns, my potential life path, the places where things could shift. After years of pushing, striving, and forcing outcomes, here was a system that seemed to explain everything and point toward what was possible.
I thought it had given me all the answers. I thought I could use it to skip ahead.
I became obsessed, using astrology to try to answer every question, from major life decisions to whether to go to the grocery store on a particular day. My dependence on astrology became unmanageable. So I swung the other direction entirely and rejected it. I walked away from it for a period of time because I had lost perspective on what it actually was.
But I kept coming back.
Over the years I returned to astrology differently. Each time, with more humility and patience, and a clearer sense of what it actually is and isn't. I completed my formal training. I started working with clients again. I kept learning.
What I've arrived at after years of working with this system, through obsession, rejection, and everything in between, is a relationship with astrology that I trust precisely because it isn't absolute.
Astrology is one tool, and a powerful one when used with intention. It offers a way of understanding the timing of life phases and when areas of life could require more focus. What it doesn't do is replace your own inner knowing.
The truth you're looking for already exists inside you. Astrology can help point you back in that direction.
This is why I work with it the way I do. Not as a source for all the answers, but as someone who has experienced every extreme this system can take you to and found the ground underneath it.
I'm not here to tell you what your chart means for your life. I'm here to help you use it as a tool for understanding yourself more clearly.
My Training
I hold a Hellenistic Astrology Certificate from The Astrology School, where I studied under Chris Brennan. My practice uses the Whole Sign house system and traditional Hellenistic techniques, with a focus on timing methods and interpretation that emphasizes your power to choose.
